The
unique QCC team approach to project management ensures total control
of your program. Comprised of management, sales, engineering, manufacturing,
quality assurance and materials staff, your QCC team of experts
guides the information processing, communication, resource negotiations,
incremental and modular planning required to reach attainable milestones
for each project.
Acting as the
main interface between the customer and QCC, the project manager's
role is paramount. Project managers monitor production schedules,
and overall project progress and budgetary issues, while maintaining
an open line of communication with each customer.

We
recognize the strategic value of information and how it can provide
a significant competitive advantage to customers. Through the adoption
of Strategic Planning Information Resources (SPIR), all aspects
of information related resources, are focused to advance our customers'
value in the marketplace.
QCC project
managers harness the SPIR concept to tailor internal MIS systems
to accommodate specific project requirements such as quotations,
material conformance, EDI, bar coding, tool usage, etc. From initial
order acceptance, through seamless data interface with engineering
and production, to final shipment, the strategic use of QCC's management
systems result in the total quality control of each project.

 |
|
|
|
Strict
adherence to customer specifications requires QCC to maintain
total control of all material used in the manufacturing process.
Supplier certification ensures that all raw materials are
exactly as specified. Internal systems for spot audits and
independent test facilities are part of the verification process.
QCC's
material control extends to castings, forgings, heat treating
and other commercially available components needed for project
completion.

Quality
specifications for finished components and assemblies often
extend beyond traditional methods. Current standards in many
industries require removal of any particulate to low contaminate
weight. To address this critical issue, QCC has invested in
automated parts cleaning machinery. In aerospace, diesel fuel
injection, and hydraulics where cleanliness is critical to
overall assembly performance, QCC has the facilities and people
capable of assuring conformance to demanding requirements.

 |
|
|
|
Precision
machining requires a continual investment in people and technology.
QCC has made the commitment to both. Review our extensive
equipment list. From state-of-the-art stand alone machines
to cellular manufacturing, continual capital investment in
technology enables QCC to deliver custom engineered solutions
to any outsourcing challenge.
On-going
operator training programs educate our craftsmen to efficiently
and productively utilize technology. The result is a consistently
high quality workforce that gets the job done right.

Nearly
40% of our customers require component assembly. We assemble
multiple components into complex assemblies for power transmission,
fuel system and aerospace devices results in consistent, repeatable
performance.
Functional
tests are conducted based on customer parameters. We design
specialized test to continually monitor assembly performance.
QCC's focus on being "Single-Source" has resulted in an expertise
in delivering high precision, completely finished assemblies
and sub-assemblies.

 |
|
|
|
To
be truly a "Single-Source" supplier, QCC recognizes the need
for controlling critical heat treating operations. To this
end, a strategic alliance with the internationally recognized
FPM Corporation has extended our metallurgical capabilities.
FPM shares the same passion for perfection in heat treating
materials that we do in our manufacturing operations. Their
reputation in heat treatments has distinguished them as a
creative problem solver. Often they will suggest an alternate
method for enhanced product performance and cost reduction.
Through
this partnership, QCC confidently maintains the consistency
of material performance as demanded by customer specifications.

The
selection of qualified suppliers is taken very seriously.
An extensive audit must be completed prior to acceptance as
an approved supplier. Periodic updates of this audit keep
our suppliers' performance up to the levels we demand. Traceability
of supplier conformance to our customers' specification is
controlled through complete documentation.
Supplier
management is used for all purchases including heat treating,
plating, stampings, castings and forgings, as well as MRO
items like perishable tooling and cutting oils.
We approach
our suppliers as key members of the project management team.
This approach benefits our customers by extending QCC's full
service capabilities to include their expertise in quality
production, cost containment and product enhancement.

Quality
is much more than just a process, it's our way of doing business.
Through Advanced Quality Planning (AQP), QCC identifies the
quality expectations of each project and establishes processes
to meet them. Detailed formal procedures are written to control
design changes, documentation, and testing. Failure Mode Effects
Analysis (FMEA) is used to reduce potential failure modes.
For fifty
years our customers have learned to expect levels of quality
that exceed their requirements. We have learned to expect
that from ourselves. After all, Quality Control Corporation
is our name.
